Gregory S. Lisi is head of Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP’s Employment & Labor practice group. He concentrates in labor and employment law, sexual harassment and discrimination law, overtime and wage law, labor relations, management/union issues, business immigration and naturalization law labor relations, corporate law, commercial transaction law, and all aspects of commercial litigation. He has represented defendants, plaintiffs, publicly traded and private companies, trade groups and associations, the United States Government, and New York State government and municipal entities.

Mr. Lisi is currently the President of the Nassau County Bar Association, where he has also served on the Board of Directors, is a part Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Committee and is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Federal Courts Committees, among others.

Mr. Lisi was a contributing author to the treatise Sex Discrimination and Sexual Harassment in the Work Place by Solotoff and Kramer published by Law Journal Press. He also authored a note published in the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal entitled, Intracircuit Nonacquiescence by the INS, 5 G.I.L.J. 325 (1991). Further, Mr. Lisi has lectured and written extensively on Labor and Employment, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, Wage and Hour, Equal Employment Law, Labor Relations, Immigration, and Federal Litigation topics.

Mr. Lisi is a former Regional Counsel of the United States Customs Service, where he defended the United States Government before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as in labor/union matters. He has practiced before the Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals and D.C. Circuits, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State and Nassau County Divisions of Human Rights, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the National Labor Relations Board, the National Mediation Board, labor and corporate arbitrations and mediations, and the Courts of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties.
