Michael A. Berger, an associate in the firm’s Employment & Labor and Veterinary practice groups, was appointed Co-Chair of the New Lawyers Committee. Mr. Berger, an Old Bethpage, NY resident, earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Lisa M. Casa, a partner in the firm’s Employment & Labor practice group, was appointed Vice Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Committee. Ms. Casa, a Massapequa Park, NY resident, earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.S. and B.A. from The George Washington University.

Johanna C. David, a partner in the firm’s Tax, Trusts, & Estates practice group, was appointed Vice Chair of the Elder Law, Social Services & Health Advocacy Committee. She will serve a two-year term. Ms. David, a Valley Stream, NY resident, earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.

Danielle B. Gatto, a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group, was appointed Co-Chair of the Commercial Litigation Committee. Ms. Gatto, a Dix Hills, NY resident, earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from Tulane University.

Cheryl L. Katz, a partner in the firm’s Tax, Trusts, & Estates practice group, was appointed Vice Chair of the Surrogate’s Court Estates and Trusts Committee. Ms. Katz, a Massapequa, NY resident, earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from Stony Brook University.

Gregory S. Lisi, a partner and Chair of the firm’s Employment & Labor practice group, was appointed Chair of the Lawyer Referral Committee. Mr. Lisi, an Oceanside, NY resident, earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Gerard R. Luckman, a partner and Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring practice group, was appointed Chair of the Bankruptcy Law Committee. Mr. Luckman, a Glen Cove, NY resident, earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.S. from New York Institute of Technology.

Robert L. Renda, a partner in the firm’s Tax Certiorari practice group, was appointed Chair of the Condemnation Law and Tax Certiorari Committee. He will serve a two-year term. Mr. Renda, a Massapequa, NY resident, earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.S. from St. John’s University.
