Daniel P. Deegan heads up the firm’s Industrial Development Agency (IDA), Municipal Incentives and Government Relations practices, with particular emphasis on facilitating and implementing responsible real estate development projects. Joseph P. Asselta is Co-Head of the Firm’s Construction Law Department. Mr. Asselta represents clients in all segments of the construction industry including owners, developers, financial institutions, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, government contractors, trade contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment rental companies, insurers and sureties (on both public and private projects).

Frank W. Brennan concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation and labor and employment law. Mr. Brennan represents clients in all segments of the construction industry, including contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, suppliers and equipment rental companies (on both public and private projects).

William F. Bonesso has wide-ranging experience in the areas of land use and zoning, real estate, and municipal law. A frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education seminars, Mr. Bonesso concentrates his practice in providing land use and development counsel, preparing and presenting zoning and planning applications, and the representation of clients in related litigation.

Andrew E. Curto concentrates his practice in complicated commercial and employment litigation as well as in all facets of business conflict and problem solving. He routinely litigates claims in both federal and state courts in a wide variety of commercial claims, such as corporate dissolution and derivative actions for large multimillion dollar corporations and small closely held corporations as well as limited liability companies.

Gregory S. Lisi is Head of the Firm’s Employment and Labor Department concentrating in the areas of labor and employment law, sexual harassment and discrimination law, overtime and wage law, immigration and naturalization law, corporate law, commercial transaction law and real estate law. He has represented Plaintiffs, Defendants, publicly traded and private companies, the United States Government and New York State government entities.

Gerard R. Luckman is a partner in the Firm’s bankruptcy and corporate restructuring department.  He represents various types of clients in financial workout or chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including clients involved in distressed debt transactions, asset acquisitions, and asset sales outside of bankruptcy; as well as debtors, creditors’ committees, equity holders, landlords, and secured and unsecured creditors in chapter 11 proceedings.

Judy L. Simoncic concentrates her practice in the areas of zoning, land use, environmental, municipal, and real estate law.  She represents national franchises, Fortune 500 companies, national corporations, large real estate development companies as well as individual real estate developers in the development of both residential and commercial properties throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Peter B. Skelos directs the Firm’s Appellate Practice Group and is a member of the Litigation Department.  Skelos was an editor of the two-volume practice guide, Civil Trials in New York (West Group) and authored Chapter 7 – Evolution of the Labor Law: A View from the Bench, Construction Site Personal Injury Litigation, 2d ed. (New York State Bar Association Publications). He regularly serves as a panel member at continuing legal education programs. He served over 21 years in the New York state judiciary.

Russell G.
