Peter R. Mineo served as a North Hempstead Deputy Town Attorney, where he was counsel to the Board of Zoning and Appeals and Building Department on zoning matters and litigation. Since joining the firm in 1978, he has continued to concentrate in zoning, land use, municipal law and litigation. Mr. Mineo represents a wide variety of private clients, including many national corporate chains and municipalities. He is the Village Attorney for three villages and has been retained as special counsel by a number of other municipalities, particularly on zoning and other land use issues and litigation.
Mr. Mineo is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations and has spoken at numerous professional seminars on zoning topics. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Long Island Home, a not-for-profit organization which provides a broad spectrum of healthcare services and solutions for the community. He also serves on the Finance Committee of The Long Island Home, where his knowledge and expertise in land development has helped to shape the future of that institution. In addition, Mr. Mineo is a member of its’ Executive Compensation Committee.
