Partner Andrea Tsoukalas Named a 40 Under 40 by the Long Island Business News

Uniondale, January 26th, 2012 — Partner Andrea Tsoukalas has been selected by the Long Island Business News for the ‘40 under 40 Award Class of 2012. She was recognized for her leadership in business, and her commitment to the Long Island community.

Andrea Tsoukalas joined the firm in January of 2005 and became Partner in 2011, the Firm’s youngest partner. She concentrates her practice in zoning, land use, environmental and municipal law matters. Ms. Tsoukalas represents a wide variety of clients including national corporate chains, local developers and small business owners in the development of commercial and residential properties.

Ms. Tsoukalas also has substantial experience in appellate practice and civil litigation. She litigates contract and real estate claims, corporate and partnership disputes, and regulatory claims arising out of building and zoning code violations.

Ms. Tsoukalas is general counsel to the Long Island Gasoline Retailers Association, a nationally recognized non-profit trade association with over 600 members. She also serves as counsel to the Village of Kensington Board of Trustees, Zoning Board of Appeals and Architectural Review Board.

Ms. Tsoukalas has published articles in GlobeSt.com, the online edition of Real Estate New York and the New York Real Estate Journal. In addition, she was featured numerous times in the New York Real Estate Journal’s annual “Women in Real Estate” edition.
