LI Pulse Magazine Honors John V. Terrana as 2012 Legal Eagle

Uniondale, March 28, 2012 — LI Pulse Magazine handed out its Second Annual Legal Eagles award. Partner John V. Terrana of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana, LLP’s was honored with the ‘Most Unbeatable’ Award for his recent milestones and accomplishments. The Firm’s Tax Certiorari department recently reached a milestone by opening its 5,000th file. The department concentrates in handling tax certiorari proceedings to challenge real estate tax assessments which results in a real estate tax refund and a reduction of future real estate taxes for its clients. Throughout the years, the department has obtained millions of dollars in real estate tax refunds and savings for its clients, which include national, regional and local owners and tenants of all types of commercial and residential properties.

The department is headed by John V. Terrana, who is also currently serving as co-chair of the Tax Certiorari Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association and has previously served as Chairman of the Tax Certiorari Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Terrana has published numerous articles and lectures on tax certiorari issues.
