Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP is proud to announce that Mary E. Mongioi, a Partner and Chair of the firm’s Veterinary practice group, is one of the 119 exemplary women included in Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 Notable Women in Law list of honorees.

The 2022 honorees were chosen not only for their skills and accomplishments in the courtroom, but for their leadership outside of it. In addition to their tireless dedication to their clients, the Crain’s New York Business Notable Women in Law honorees were selected for their outstanding professional achievements and pro bono work or involvement in industry and community organizations.

Ms. Mongioi, a Nissequogue, NY resident, earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from Wagner College.

Ms. Mongioi is a member of VetPartners, a nonprofit association of more than 300 professionals dedicated to serving the veterinary profession. She chairs the association’s Program Committee. Ms. Mongioi was instrumental in pivoting VetPartners’ mid-year and annual meetings in 2020 to a virtual format and coordinated the return to an in-person mid-year meeting in August of 2021. She also serves on the association’s Ethics Committee.
