December 15, 2010 – Brian R. Sahn was interviewed by the Long Island Business News in the article, “Offices Battling Green Dilemma.” The article detailed how the Firm became the first Long Island tenant to become LEED certified for commercial interiors in a multi-tenanted building.

Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP relocated its headquarters from Mineola to the top floor of the Omni Building in Uniondale where the firm has views of the Manhattan skyline as well as views across the sprawling expanse of Long Island. The new office space features state-of-the-art design and conference technology and this Fall the Firm was awarded the LEED silver rating for commercial interiors.

Brian R. Sahn is a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group where he broadly concentrates his practice in all facets of commercial real estate transactions, including representing clients in purchase and sale agreements; acquisition financing transactions; industrial/economic development projects; and commercial lease agreements in the office, retail and industrial markets. Brian has extensive experience in real estate brokerage matters, including representing clients in connection with real estate portfolio management service agreements, corporate global solutions agreements, lease administration agreements and disputes over commissions and entitlements. Brian also manages the Firm’s “green” and “sustainable” initiatives, and oversaw the Firm’s LEED certification process for its office.
