Ban the Box: An Equal Playing Field But More Regulations for Employers

New York City is often known for being the most restrictive area in the state when it comes to regulations for employers. Consistent with this history, in August 2017, New York City implemented a new set of regulations, aimed at eliminating bias in the hiring process.
