Jacqueline A. Rappel is a Partner in Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP’s Litigation practice group. She concentrates her practice in complicated commercial and Surrogate’s Court litigation, as well as in all facets of business conflict and business dispute resolution. Ms. Rappel routinely litigates claims in both federal and state courts in a wide variety of commercial claims such as corporate dissolution, breach of contract, shareholder and member disputes both for closely-held businesses and larger companies. In addition, she has extensive experience in Surrogate’s Court litigation having tried numerous proceedings in the Surrogate’s Court, including aggressively contested probate matters and judicial accountings, as well as Article 81 guardianship actions in Supreme Court. Ms. Rappel has also prosecuted and defended first party insurance matters and other proceedings such as declaratory judgment actions, real estate disputes and Federal FCRA, FDCPA and ADA actions. In addition, she is also an experienced appellate attorney having successfully represented clients for many years before the Supreme of the New York State Appellate Divisions for the First and Second Departments.

Notably, Ms. Rappel is a frequent lecturer and has had multiple matters reported in the New York Law Journal as cases of interest.

An accomplished horseback rider, Ms. Rappel has competed in several national Versatile Horse & Rider Competitions (VHRC).
