Greg Kalnitsky is a partner who concentrates his practice in real estate, land use, zoning, municipal law, government relations and municipal incentives/IDA.

Prior to joining Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP, Greg served as Counsel to the Zoning Board of Appeals in the City of Long Beach for nearly a decade, which culminated in his appointment as Acting Corporation Counsel of the City of Long Beach. While in Long Beach, Greg oversaw all facets of countless real estate projects, both large and small, from inception to completion.

Subsequent to his service with the City of Long Beach, Greg was appointed City Attorney of the City of Glen Cove where he was the Chief Legal Officer of the City, which included advising the Mayor and City Council, as well as overseeing the function of the City’s land use boards and IDA. Most recently, Greg served as a Section Chief within the County of Nassau’s Office of the County Attorney.

Greg’s extensive experience in government provides him with unique insight into how to navigate Long Island’s ever changing landscape to meet the needs of the firm’s clients.
