Uniondale, July 23, 2018 – Jessica Leis was quoted in Newsday regarding her representation of North Hempstead Housing Authority’s Housing Development Fund Corporation, in the article, ” Grand Plan for Seniors.”  The Housing Development Fund Corporation plans to build a 77-unit affordable housing complex for seniors.

Jessica A. Leis is an Associate with the Firm’s land use and zoning practice group. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Leis was an Assistant County Attorney in the Tort Division of the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office.  She defended the County on all tort state court matters including negligence, false arrest, excessive force, and malicious prosecution claims.  She was also responsible for conducting municipal 50-h hearings, answering complaints, conducting depositions, writing motions, engaging in settlement negotiations, and conducting trials.
