Andrew E. Curto, a resident of Roslyn Harbor, has concentrated his practice in the area of complicated commercial and employment litigation. In more recent years, he has continued to litigate commercial matters but also has developed a substantial practice in corporate problem solving, litigation avoidance and conflict resolution. This past year, Mr. Curto founded the firm’s Renewable Energy and Emerging Technology Practice Group established to help our clients navigate through this rapidly growing and exciting area of the law.

Prior to joining the Firm in 1999, Mr. Curto was formerly a partner in a Melville, New York law firm where he routinely litigated claims in both federal and state courts in a wide variety of commercial claims, such as corporate dissolution and derivative actions, contract and real estate disputes, employment and discrimination claims, estate litigations, regulatory claims and compliance issues arising out of municipal zoning and code enforcement proceedings.

Mr. Curto has been quoted in various news media including the Wall Street Journal and Long Island Business News for his representation of more than 10,000 business owners in a suit against the State of New York successfully challenging the constitutionality of new license fee legislation. He has published articles and has lectured on various aspects of litigation and employment law. He was a Who’s Who in litigation/labor law by the Long Island Business News in 2013 and honored with the Top Businessman Around 50 award by the same publication in 2015.
