Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP is proud to announce that Jeffrey D. Forchelli, Chairman and Co-Managing Partner of the firm, was awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters (L.H.D.) by Wagner College during its 2026 commencement ceremony.

A Doctor of Humane Letters (L.H.D.) is an honorary degree bestowed upon individuals who have made exemplary contributions to society, philanthropy, or their communities.

Mr. Forchelli ’66, H ’26 was recognized for his distinguished legal career as founding partner and Chairman of Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP, as well as for his longstanding leadership and service to Wagner College as Board Chairman and Trustee, and for his significant philanthropic and civic contributions.

Mr. Forchelli also served for many years as a Trustee of Brooklyn Law School.

Mr. Forchelli, a Glen Cove, NY resident, earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. from Wagner College.
