Uniondale, February 18, 2016 – Partners Kathleen Deegan Dickson and Robert B. Moy presented a CLE seminar titled, “The Latest Asian Real Estate Projects in Queens and Beyond,” at the recent Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) & the Asian Real Estate Association meeting.

Kathleen Deegan Dickson concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate development matters, and, in particular, land use and zoning law. Kathleen has an extensive track record of success with and before municipal boards and agencies on significant projects throughout Long Island. Perhaps more importantly, she has a reputation for effectiveness and integrity in the pre-hearing meetings and outreach to municipal planning staffs and civic groups that are now a must in Long Island’s current development climate. She is former counsel to the City of Glen Cove Planning and Zoning Boards, and currently represents many developers, property owners, corporations and private individuals in all types of matters involving real property transactions, zoning and land use.

Robert B. Moy is a Partner in the Corporate, and Tax, Trusts and Estate departments of the Firm.

Prior to joining the Firm, he was a founding member of Bennett & Moy, LLP where he represented his clients on various corporate, estate planning, and real estate matters. This included mergers and acquisitions, establishing and structuring new businesses, negotiating and draftingshareholder, operating, financing, employment, licensing and buy-sell agreements, purchasing and selling real estate, and drafting complex and simple trusts and wills. Mr. Moy was previously Counsel to Battle Fowler, LLP in New York, where his corporate and real estate expertise included complex commercial transactions, project and structured financing, and securities law. His legal experience includes working internationally in the Hong Kong office of Fulbright and Jaworski, LLP where he was primarily responsible for working on several multi-million dollar commercial transactions, including the establishment of a number of offshore funds and joint ventures in China.
