Dan Deegan Appointed Chair of the Long Island Association Young Professionals Committee

Uniondale, November 1, 2018 – Partner Daniel P. Deegan has been appointed by the Long Island Association (LIA) as the Chair of the Young Professionals Committee. The Young Professionals Committee is comprised of a diverse group of employees ages 22-35 who are designated by members of the LIA Board of Directors. The LIA is thus helping train the next generation of business leaders and integrating their input in confronting the challenges facing young people on Long Island while giving them an opportunity to learn, network and collaborate with each other.

Daniel P. Deegan specializes in Real Estate Development Law, Zoning Law, Municipal Incentives/IDA Law, and Government Relations/Municipal Law. He is experienced in representing companies before the IDAs in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Dan has a reputation for “getting things done” with efficiency, effectiveness and integrity. Mr. Deegan has been awarded an “AV” legal ability and ethics rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in New York’s Super Lawyers every year since 2010 He was also peer selected in LI Pulse Magazine as a “Top Legal Eagle” for being the “most unbeatable” in Real Estate. Mr. Deegan was elected to the Board of the Long Island Association in 2015. He also serves on the Board of the New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) and is Vice Chairman of the Long Island Chapter.
