Uniondale, April 1, 2018 – Partner Andrea Tsoukalas Curto was recently appointed to serve on the Planning Board in the Village of Roslyn Harbor which has jurisdiction over all site plans and subdivision applications in the village.

Andrea Tsoukalas Curto joined the Firm in 2005 and became Partner in 2011.  She serves as Co-Chair of the Renewable Energy practice group.  She concentrates her practice in zoning, land use, environmental, and municipal law matters. Ms. Tsoukalas Curto represents a wide variety of clients including national corporate chains, local developers, and small business owners in the development of commercial and residential properties.  In addition, she also has substantial experience in appeals concerning land use and zoning matters.

Her practice is unique as she represents both applicants and municipalities. Counseling zoning boards, which includes drafting decisions on their behalf, gives her an invaluable perspective when representing applicants such as what a board is looking for, the importance of a municipality’s comprehensive plan, and how community support can affect the outcome of an application.
