Uniondale, NY, March 28, 2018 — The law firm of Forchelli Deegan Terrana has received the Top Hotel Hospitality Award from Long Island Business News.  FDT partners Daniel P. Deegan and William F. Bonesso attended the newspaper’s Architecture, Engineering & Development Awards ceremony held at the Crest Hollow Country Club to accept the award.

Deegan and Bonesso represented the owners of a new Residence Inn by Marriott on a 5.9-acre site near Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.   “As there is only one other Residence Inn in Nassau County, a second such extended stay hotel can be expected to attract new guests from outside the immediate area,” said Mr. Deegan.  “As one of the most-recognized brands in its category, this new Residence Inn could be viewed as a tourism destination as it will attract a significant number of visitors that would not otherwise be expected to come to the area.”

Added Mr. Bonesso, “The new hotel will be part of the Roosevelt Field Mall campus and will be promoted by the mall as an attraction.  It is well documented that hotels in general are a significant economic engine for local economies.”
