Associate
Jad S. Sayage serves as an associate at Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP, where he is part of the Real Estate practice group.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Sayage was the Managing Attorney at Sayage Law PLLC, concentrating exclusively on real estate matters. He previously worked as an associate at both a prominent full-service law firm on Long Island and a land use and zoning law boutique in the same region.
Mr. Sayage is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He represents a diverse clientele, including investors, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and developers, in various commercial and residential real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, contract negotiations, leasing, Condo/Co-op, Landlord-Tenant issues, and financing.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Sayage was a managing director at a property management firm, overseeing the daily operations of a profitable real estate portfolio with both regional and national tenants. He also gained experience as a Licensed Real Estate Broker, assisting commercial investors with property acquisitions and dispositions.
Mr. Sayage graduated cum laude from Hofstra University Law School as a Dean’s Honor Scholar, where he received the Herman Hillman Real Estate Award for outstanding achievement in housing or real estate. During his studies, he externed at the City of Long Beach, Corporation Counsel, engaging with various aspects of Municipal Law, including zoning, land use, and environmental law. He also interned at a Landlord-Tenant law firm, providing counsel on both residential and commercial holdover and non-payment proceedings.
