Gregory W. Carman is an associate in Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP’s Corporate, Condominium, Cooperative & HOA, Real Estate, Land Use & Zoning, and Cannabis practice groups.
In the corporate and commercial law areas, Mr. Carman represents individuals, start-ups, and mid-sized companies with a wide array of needs, including sales, acquisitions, financings, operating, shareholder and partnership agreements, entity formation/dissolution, and a variety of other commercial agreements.
Mr. Carman also provides a full suite of legal services to co-op, condo, and HOA boards, including preparing and reviewing bylaws, leases, alteration agreements, and house rules. He helps clients obtain financing, navigate litigation, draft contracts with third parties, and offers general legal advice. In addition, Mr. Carman provides legal services to individuals purchasing or selling a cooperative or condominium unit and in disputes with boards.
Mr. Carman also represents residential and commercial clients across Long Island to secure zoning changes, subdivision approvals, site plan approvals, variances, road abandonments, and special use permits.
Before joining FDT as an Associate, Mr. Carman was a legal intern at the firm during his final year at St. John’s School of Law. Simultaneously, he volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Securities Arbitration Clinic, representing under-served investors in claims before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Mr. Carman also previously served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Timothy C. Stanceu of the United States Court of International Trade.
