David J. Borkon
David J. Borkon is a corporate attorney concentrating in business and transactional matters for a wide range of clients, including entrepreneurs, investors, startups and growth-stage and mature companies, with a particular focus on the structuring and formation of new businesses, capital raise transactions, agreements among founders, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
He also has experience with equity and debt financings, private placements, shareholder and operating agreements, reorganizations, employment and consulting agreements, entertainment agreements, manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements, and a wide variety of other commercial contracts.
As Co-Chair of the Firm’s Restaurant and Hospitality Group, Mr. Borkon also has extensive experience representing clients in the food, beverage and hospitality sectors. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Borkon was formerly Of Counsel at a New York City law firm.
In his role as co-director of the Firm’s Long Island General Counsel Network, a networking group for Long Island and the NYC metro area for in-house counsel operated in partnership with the Association of Corporate Counsel, David Borkon has moderated and lectured on corporate law topics.
