David J. Borkon
David J. Borkon is a Partner at Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP. His practice focuses on business and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial transactions, for a wide range of clients, including family offices, private equity funds and portfolio companies, and founders and investors.
Mr. Borkon has extensive experience with equity and debt financings, capital raises, shareholder and operating agreements, reorganizations, employment and consulting agreements, and a variety of other contracts.
Mr. Borkon advises numerous veterinary industry clients, including private equity-backed consolidators, sellers, owners and associate doctors, regarding the purchase and sale of veterinary clinics and hospitals, as well as real estate, employment and regulatory-related matters.
As co-chair of the firm’s Restaurant & Hospitality practice group, Mr. Borkon represents local, regional and national clients in the food, beverage and hospitality sectors.
In his role as co-director of the firm’s Long Island General Counsel Network, a networking group for Long Island and New York metropolitan area in-house counsel, which is operated in partnership with the Association of Corporate Counsel, Mr. Borkon periodically moderates educational programs panels and lectures on various corporate law topics.
