Uniondale, January 8, 2018 —Forchelli Deegan Terrana, LLP , already one of Long Island’s largest law firms, has announced that five attorneys have joined the Firm as Associates.
Jonah Blumenthal joined the Firm in the Tax, Trusts and Estates Practice Group. He was most recently an Associate Attorney with Greenwald Weiss Attorneys at Law, where he developed and implemented estate and tax planning strategies and represented clients with Surrogate’s Courts matters. He is a graduate of Touro College and St. John’s University School of Law.
Jane Chen has joined the law firm of Forchelli Deegan Terrana as an Associate in the Corporate and Real Estate practice groups. She was most recently a law clerk at the Firm, where she conducted research and wrote memorandum, including for the introduction for the Firm’s renewable energy practice. Prior to joining Forchelli Deegan Terrana, Jane served as a law clerk at a publically traded national bank, where she drafted and reviewed vendor contracts, lease agreements, corporate policies and correspondence to governmental, regulatory, and third party entities. She is a graduate of Stony Brook University and Hofstra University School of Law.
Jessica Leis joined the Firm in the Land Use and Zoning Practice Group. She was most recently an Assistant County Attorney in the Tort Division of the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office. She defended the County on all state court matters, including negligence, false arrest, excessive force, and malicious prosecution claims. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and Hofstra University School of Law.
Kristin McGrath Seibert has joined as an Associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Ms. Seibert was most recently a Law Clerk for the Honorable Joanna Seybert of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York. She is admitted to practice in New York State, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District for the Southern District Court of New York.
Erik Snipas also joined the Firm in the Land Use and Zoning Practice Group. He was most recently an Assistant District Attorney, Supreme Court in the Queens County District Attorney’s office. He prosecuted and investigated violent and non-violent felonies including attempted murder, burglary, robbery, illegal gun possession, assault, domestic violence, forgery, and identity theft. He is a graduate of St. John’s University and St. John’s University School of Law.
