Uniondale, September 15, 2016 – Robert L. Renda was honored with the first Annual Millennial Award by the Long Island Business News. The Millennial Awards honors the bright and dynamic young professionals who are part of the millennial generation, who contribute to the Long Island community through public service and who have made significant strides in business. Robert Renda concentrates his practice in the areas of tax certiorari, real estate and condemnation law. Mr. Renda earned both his law degree (magna cum laude) and undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) from St. John’s University. During his tenure with the Firm, Mr. Renda has represented clients in real property tax proceedings throughout New York State. Mr. Renda has successfully obtained millions of dollars in real estate tax refunds and savings for clients, including national, regional and local owners and tenants of all types of commercial and residential property. In addition, Mr. Renda is special counsel to the Village of Freeport for tax certiorari matters.
Mr. Renda is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association, and sits on the Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Law Committee in both bar associations. Mr. Renda is also a member of the Long Island Association’s (LIA) Young Professionals Committee.
