Andrew E. Curto (Hofstra University School of Law, 1990)
concentrates his practice in complicated commercial and
employment litigation. Prior to joining the Firm in 1999,
Mr. Curto was a partner in a Melville, New York law firm.
He routinely litigates claims in both federal and state
courts in a wide variety of commercial claims, such as
corporate dissolution and derivative actions, contract
and real estate disputes, employment and discrimination
claims, estate litigations, regulatory claims and compliance
issues arising out of municipal zoning and code enforcement
proceedings.
Recently, Mr. Curto has been quoted in various
news media including the Wall Street Journal and the Long
Island Business News for his representation of more than
10,000 business owners in a suit against the State of New
York challenging the constitutionality of new license fee
legislation.
Mr. Curto has substantial experience in appellate
practice, and has gained valuable experience from prior
employment with the United States Environmental Protection
Agency, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office and
Matthew Bender Co., a well-known legal publisher.
Mr. Curto
is admitted to practice before the New York State Bar,
the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern
Districts of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of
Appeals. He is a member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County
and New York State Bar Associations. Mr. Curto is also
a member of the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court.
The Inn of Court is a society of judges, lawyers and legal

the preservation and promotion of strong ethical values
and collegiality among legal professionals of the bench
and the bar.
