Warren S. Arthur (St. John's University School of Law,
1973) began his legal career with a Long Island law firm
that concentrated in tax certiorari matters. Thereafter,
he became tax counsel for Con Edison. He then served as
senior in-house counsel for the Long Island Lighting Company,
once again practicing in the field of tax certiorari and
real estate.
Mr. Arthur joined the Firm in 1987 and has
continued to concentrate his practice in tax certiorari.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and
the New York State Assessors' Association. He is also a
member of the Nassau County Bar Association, where he serves
on the Tax Certiorari Committee. Mr. Arthur, a former Trustee
of the Northport–East Northport School Board for 16
years, is a recipient of the School Board Award of Excellence
from SCOPE Educational Services.
