Associate Michael Walker Joins Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP
August 23rd, 2013 — Jeffrey D. Forchelli, Managing Partner of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP (the Firm), announced that Michael Walker, Jr. has joined the Firm as an associate in the Banking and Finance practice group.
Michael Walker, Jr. concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate finance and banking. Mr. Walker sat for the New York State Bar Examination in July and is presently awaiting admission. While at St. John’s University School of Law, he was a Notes & Comments Editor for the St. John’s Law Review and The Journal of Catholic Legal Studies. Mr. Walker’s student note, tentatively titled “A New Public Performance Analysis for Digital Locker Storage,” is scheduled for publication in an upcoming volume of the St. John’s Law Review.
While earning his degree, Mr. Walker was a Legal Affairs Intern at EMI Music North America in New York City and a Judicial Intern for the Honorable A. Kathleen Tomlinson, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Walker served as a Legal Assistant for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from State University of New York College at Oneonta.
