Kathleen Deegan Dickson, Esq. and
Kevin C. Horton Appointed to the All Saint Regional School
Board in Glen Cove
December, 2010 –Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz,
Mineo & Terrana LLP Real Estate Partner Kathleen
Deegan Dickson and Kevin C. Horton, Editor and
Publisher of the Gold Coast Gazette have been appointed
to the All Saints Regional School Board in Glen Cove.
Kathleen Deegan Dickson concentrates her practice in the
areas of real estate development matters, and, in particular,
land use and zoning law. She is former counsel to
the City of Glen Cove Planning and Zoning Boards, and currently
represents many developers, property owners, corporations
and private individuals in all types of matters involving
real property transactions, zoning and land use.
She is a member of the American and the New York State
Bar Associations, as well as the Nassau County Women’s
Bar Association, WEDLI (Women Economic Developers of Long
Island), the Nassau County Catholic Lawyer’s Guild
and the New York Democratic Lawyers Council. Ms.
Deegan Dickson also serves on the Advisory Council of the
North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove, and the Board
of Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation.
Kathleen and her husband, Brad, reside in Glen Cove with
their three children, Maggie, Maura and Danny, who attend
ASR. Kathleen will be assisting Kevin on the Board’s
marketing committee and will be a member of the Board’s
finance committee. “I look forward to offering my
skills and talents to assist All Saints Regional in furthering
its mission. I’m pleased to have this opportunity
to give back to this wonderful school that has done so
much for my family and others,” said Ms. Deegan Dickson.
Kevin C. Horton is the editor and publisher of the Gold
Coast Gazette, a weekly newspaper covering the North Shore
of Long Island. Kevin founded the newspaper in 1991 with
his mother, Patricia. Kevin is a graduate of North Shore
High School and New York Institute of Technology where
he earned a degree in Communication Arts specializing in
Journalism. While at NYIT Kevin was the editor of the school
newspaper and received many distinguished awards including
the Presidential Service Award. Kevin is a member
of the Long Island and New York Press Association and the
Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce and has served as President
of Glen Cove Rotary.
Kevin and his wife Milkenia reside in Sea Cliff and have
two children Kacey and Samantha who attend All Saints Regional
Catholic School. As a new member of the school board Kevin
has been charged with heading the marketing of the school. "Our
main event will be on January 30, 2011," said Kevin. "We're
having our open house and welcome anyone who would like
to come, 'and experience the difference,' between the hours
of 11:30 to 1:30."
