Blumberg Appointed to CCFA Board

(Mineola, NY, October 28, 2008) - Attorney Richard A. Blumberg, a resident of Melville, New York, and partner at the Mineola-based law firm of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana, LLP has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Long Island Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. The Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are two diseases in a group of illnesses know collectively as “inflammatory bowel disease”. Crohn’s disease causes inflammation of the inner lining of the large bowel. Ulcerative colitis is a disease of the colon, or large intestine.
