Attorney Andrea Tsoukalas Featured
in the New York Real Estate Journal’s “Women
in Real Estate” focus.
Mineola, November 29, 2007—Associate Andrea
Tsoukalas is featured in the New York Real Estate Journal
2007 “Women in Real Estate” publication.
In this article Ms. Tsoukalas discusses her experience as
a land use and zoning and what special attributes are needed
to excel in her practice. She explains, “Part of being
a successful land use attorney is to know that during the
hearing stage, your presentation and the documentation you
present to the board will be the only information a judge
will review in the event that a proceeding is commenced
to challenge an unfavorable decision.”
Ms. Tsoukalas joined The Firm in January of 2005 and
concentrates her practice in zoning, land use, environmental
and municipal law matters and civil litigation. Ms. Tsoukalas
represents a wide variety of clients, including national
corporate chains, local developers and small business owners
in the development of commercial and residential properties.
She also serves as counsel to the Village of Kensington
Zoning Board of Appeals and the Architectural Review Board.
